This ground mounted 3.96 kWp photovoltaic array is estimated to generate 3,638 kWhs of electricity per annum

This ground mounted photovoltaic array comprises 22 Mitsubishi TD180 modules on a Schuco PV Lite mounting system. The array is linked to a Diehl Platinum 3800S inverter mounted in the garage by a 75 m buried SWA cable. The inverter is connected to the main consumer unit in the house via a sub-distribution board.

Based on historical solar irradiation data, the array is predicted to generate in the region of 3,638 kWhs per annum, displacing a substantial proportion of the household’s mains electricity consumption. Any excess generation is exported to the grid.

Since installation the actual output of the array has exceeded its predicted output by more than 25%, to date
