The householders have commissioned this PV array for both environmental and economic reasons – including an offset of 1.76 tonnes of CO2 per annum.  As well as displacing a substantial proportion of the household’s electricity bills, any power not used within the house is exported to the grid,attracting further payments.

The array comprises 14 Moser Baer MBPV CAAP 235 modules linked to an EverSolar 3200 TL transformerless inverter. The inverter is mounted in the garage and links to the main consumer unit via a sub-distribution board. It is mounted on a south-facing roof pitch.
