These buildings have been converted to house a manufacturer of specialist medical equipment. The company’s objective is that the array will help to offset the larger part of their energy costs and will insulate them from increasing electricity prices in the future. Also they plan to set up electricity charging points to operate electric vehicles for their employees.

We installed a 9.88 kWp PV array consisting of two sub-arrays distributed across two separate roofs. Both sub-arrays are connected to a single SMA Tripower 10000TL 3-phase inverter. One roof accommodated 32 Upsolar M190M modules arranged in two strings attached to one of the MPPTs. A further 20 modules were set out on another roof and connected to the other MPPT.

Based on detailed modelling of the installation, we expect the array to generate at least 8,950 kWhs of electricity annually.
